Trip Overview

Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Eyasi

7 Days Safari

This is one of our most popular tours, as it allows you to spend three nights in the endless plains of the Serengeti and still have the chance to explore Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara National Park. Not only can you discover and experience different wildlife, but you can also experience different Traditions by visiting three distinct tribes. Which are Hadzabe (Bushmen), Gidangodigi (blacksmith), Datoga, and Maasai.

DAY 1

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

We proceed to Tarangire National Park for the game drive with a packed lunchbox. The Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season, which sees about 250,000 animals enter the park. After an extensive game drive, head to the camp for sundowners and to enjoy the views over the Tarangire river & Acacia woodlands plains while recounting tales of the day’s adventure.

DAY 2

Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, we drive with a picnic lunchbox to Lake Manyara National Park. The park covers 330 sq. km, 70% of which is occupied by the lake. The varied ecosystem consists of groundwater forests, acacia woodland, and open grassland along the lake shore and sustains a wealth of wildlife, including pink flamingoes, baboons, elephants, Giraffes, and buffalo.

The park is famous for the elusive tree-climbing lions that inhabit the woodland between the lake and the rift valley. Late afternoon proceeds to the lodge for sundowners and to enjoy the views over the valley while recounting tales of the day’s adventure.

Chances are that you have dreamt of Africa, and when you did, you probably dreamt about the Serengeti. Countless wildlife movies have been recorded in the Serengeti, and with good reason: this is the home of the Great Migration and may very well be one of the last true natural wonders on planet Earth.
During the evening drive to the camp for sundowners and to enjoy the views over the Serengeti plains while recounting tales of the day’s adventure.

Join us on a safari and explore the endless Serengeti plains dotted with trees and kopjes from which majestic lions control their kingdom; gaze upon the Great Migration in awe or find an elusive leopard in a riverine forest.

DAY 7

Lake Eyasi - Lake Manyara - Arusha

After breakfast, we visit the Hadzabe & Datoga tribes. The Hadzabe are a modern hunter-gatherer people living in northern Tanzania. They are considered one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, with approximately 1,300 tribe members. Their native homeland includes the Eyasi Valley and nearby hills.

The Hadzabe remain an important study focus for anthropologists, as they represent a modern link to ways of human existence and survival largely abandoned by most of humanity.
