DAY 1

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Pick up from the hotel around 8:00 AM and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tarangire, Tanzania’s third-largest national park, is known for its majestic baobab trees that line the landscape, dwarfing the animals feeding beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park, famous for housing some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa.
There, you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffe, and zebra. After the game drive, you will return to your camp or lodge where a delicious dinner awaits.

DAY 2

After finishing a good breakfast, you will head towards Lake Natron. The drive to Lake Natron is about 4 hours from Tarangire. Lake Natron is a mineral-rich soda lake located in the north of the Ngorongoro district. Once you reach Lake Natron, you will check into your hotel and have lunch.

After lunch, you can proceed towards Lake Natron for a bird-watching (or Flamingo walk) activity, which will take about 4 hours, and you might see flamingoes and other birds during this walk. After the activity, you will head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits you. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day.

DAY 3

On this day, you can choose to do a short hike to Ngare Sero waterfalls near Lake Natron (by paying additionally) in the morning, or you can choose to head towards Central Serengeti with a picnic lunch after having your good breakfast. The drive to Central Serengeti is about 5 hours. Serengeti is home to all the Big Five animals and is especially renowned for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti – known as the Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. You will be doing en-route game drives in Central Serengeti till around 5:00 pm and the long day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

DAY 4

Central Serengeti

Starting your full-day game drive by 8 AM after a filling breakfast, you will explore the central part of the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences, and this day will be organized according to your wishes. Every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including for the game drives and the wake-up and rest time.

During the off-season of the migration, one must look out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion prides provide an excellent game-viewing experience all year round. Along with a picnic lunch during the full-day game drive, the day will come to a close by around 5 PM. The long day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

DAY 5

Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later, depart for Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and has fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes, and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. The 6-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs, and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascent to the top exit of the crater. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.

DAY 6

Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

On the last day of your safari, you will have a late start around 8 AM. Finishing up with a quick breakfast, you will make a departure to Lake Manyara National Park. As it is not far from your Accommodation, Lake Manyara is very famous and unique for its tree-climbing lion, as well as pink flamingoes, and also a large herd of buffalo. This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4-hour drive left to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha by 6:00 PM.
